E ... Ellable

E is for Ella is Extremely allergic to Egg.

We have discovered a new word which my whole family now use in their homes.
Anything that Ella CAN Eat is Ellable, anything that Ella can't Eat is NOT Ellable.
For Example if you ask Ella if she can Eat Egg she will say "no".
And then if you ask her why not, she will say "they not Ellable" (Ella will be three in may)

Sami ...

Meet Sami (Hippo).
She is cheeky, fun, full of smiles hugs & kisses and is absolutely adorable.
I looked after Ella & Sami overnight last night and managed to get a few photos in.
Enjoy

C .. Colours

Today is the letter C.

COLOURS. Without colours life would be pretty boring.

As you can probably guess my favourite colour is green followed shortly by white black grey and red.
I know not many COLOURS in there but the contrast between these colours is awesome. white on green and red on grey etc and black ... well black just goes with anything!

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY

Let us remember the great country we live in.
Let us remember how blessed we are to live in a country where we can so freely worship God.
Let us remember those who have fought and died for this country.
Let us stand together as one on this beautiful day as we proudly show to the world ...

I AM, YOU ARE,

WE ARE AUSTRALIAN.
(and mighty proud of it)

Praise God for all His wonderful blessings.

B .... band of brothers

Today's B photo is Riley & Charlie in their Australia Day best.

A ... ALPHABET

Well this is the first day of a photo challenge between myself and my two sisters. Alyssa came up with the idea that every day we have to post a photo in relation to a letter. Each day being a different letter in alphabetical order of course. SO ....

Today is brought to you by the letter ..... A
I took this photo while I was helping Riley (my nephew) draw the alphabet. You'll be pleased to know he can almost write his whole name all by himself. Clever cookie.
Ok so the moral of the story is ...
Tune in at 1 oclock every day to find out what the next photo will be.
Tomorrow will be brought to you by the letter .... B
Enjoy

My precious ....

Since Friday afternoon I have been looking after my two nephews Riley (3) & Charlie (1)

It has been a blast really. They play really well, eat really well & sleep really well. Well for kids that is.

Murray & Alyssa are on a holiday in Singapore.
Today is there 7th wedding anniversary.
Many congratulations to you both, praying that God will continue to bless your marriage in the years ahead. Much love Jason & Hayley xoxox

Well anyways to keep you posted I thought I would share some photos I took while I have had the boys.
Enjoy.

DIE ... lemma

Well, I went to the gym this morning only to find out that Zest Bibra Lake has been bought out by a company called Good Life. Well actually I read it in the paper first but I just thought (HOPED) it was a misprint because Zest has recently just closed down its Bullcreek facility.

ANYWAY.

So .. the story goes, members of Zest will be offered a Good Life membership, but for people, like myself, who have a trainer at Rockingham (which is staying Zest) but prefer classes and equipment at Bibra Lake will now have to choose between the two.
So what do I do now?
Well that I haven't quite figured that out just yet. But I will have to soon as the changes will be happening mid FEBRUARY. That's like a whole three weeks away.

I guess the saying goes "you can't have your cake and eat it to" or something to that effect.

Things arent always what they seem

The other day I did a cleaning spree and came across a folder which I made up a few years ago of some of my favourite poems, quotes, ramblings etc. I came across this one and thought I would share it with you.

Things aren't always what they seem ...
Two travelling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guestroom.
Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement.
As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it.
When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, "Things aren't always what they seem."
The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest.
When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel how could you have let this happen?
The first man had everything, yet you helped him, she accused. The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die. "Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied.
"When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall.
Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it.
Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead. "Things aren't always what they seem".

Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should, or should I say the way WE WANT them to. Sometimes we just need to have have faith and trust that God knows what we need and that everything will turn out for our good.

To gym or not to gym

This morning I went to the gym. I endured a session of RPM and afterwards I was so happy to feel that sweat dripping down my back and the ache of my muscles as I so "casually" and with "no effort" whatsoever walked down the gym stairs, only to get to my car and almost pass out from the heat.

Yes I am a gym goer. AND I LOVE IT!

Monday = RPM
Tuesday = Training
Wednesday = Body Combat with Bron
Thursday = Netball at night
Friday = Body Pump & Body Balance

I would recommend the gym to anyone. It is a great time out for yourself, and at the end of it all you feel FANTASTIC. And above all it makes for a fitter, happier, healthier YOU.

I attend Zest gyms. Mainly Bibra Lake but for training I go to Rockingham. It only costs $15.00 a week and you can use ANY gym at ANY time and you can use ALL their facilities. Classes, free weights, cross trainers, treadmills, pool, spa, sauna and they also supply a creche.

Just go to their website (www.zesthealthclubs.com.au) and check out for the one closest to you, for what classes and facilites they can offer. Lets make 2010 a great year!

Enjoy.

Family Fun

Well I just got home from a busy night.
Tonight we celebrated Grants 21st birthday.
We had a BBQ at the beach and played a wee bit of cricket "kiwi style".
Tracy and I played BLIND cricket. Yep it is hard to see the ball when it is pitch black outside.
AND I finally learned how to ripstick. I was very proud, and extremely sweaty, when I eventually made it all the way around the toilet block.
Then followed a trip to the old"beach shack", where Grant & Lisa are currently residing. I say RESIDING because I don't think anyone is actually allowed to LIVE there. :) I got the priveledge of looking at the wedding photos which are awesome.
They also re-established my ambitions to lose all the weight I have put on since I got married.

I can see how this blogging can become addictive.

Night All

UNCLE JASON

Riley is our three year old nephew.
He was born on the 19.11.2006, which happened to be Jasons 21st birthday.
They share an unbelieavable connection.
LOVES YOU BOTH

I wanna be ... a photographer

I love to take photos. especially of my family and friends, and most especially of kids. I am in the process of teaching myself some things about photography. If any one has any hints or tips please feel free to pass them on. Thanks. Enjoy

Today I love ...

I got this idea from my sisters blog (wheres pooki) and i loved it so i am going to use it!

Today I love
The smell of: eggs on toast with philly cream cheese
The sound of: the buzzing crickets on a hot summers day
The taste of: fizzing coke fizzing down my throat
The sight of: the sun (it seems we complain in summer when we have but yet in winter we complain we dont have it)
The feel of: a cold refreshing shower

Meet Simon, or wait ... its Sam

Just in case you are wondering who big bobble eyed teddy might be, he is my favourite teddy in the world. I found him when my oldest nephew Noah (four year old bear) was born. Simon soon became a night time buddy for Noah and I couldn't resist getting one when MR MOO (Riley) was born. Riley, now three still takes Sam to bed.

Green Beginnings ...

Hi, my name is Hayley and I would like to welcome you to my blog. I thought that this would be a great way to keep in contact with my sister, Bronya (wheres pooki) who is moving overseas. (sorry Lys (my three bears) for stealing your idea ;P)
While some critics might disagree, I however believe that this is a great way for people to express themselves and share a small piece of themselves with others.
Enjoy.
